Le Phoenix is an unusual and comfortable house for a maximum of 18 people: evenings by the fire with friends and family, walks and cycling in a nature park. Cooking and enjoying meals together, a visit to the Le Corbusier chapel listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, skiing and climbing at La Planche des Belles Filles, tree-top adventure courses at the Ballon d'Alsace, enduro motorbike / mountain bike sessions... This former stone house with its garden is comfortably fitted out. It is constantly being improved for your comfort. The 5 bedrooms and the large tables can accommodate up to 18 guests. It is a Phoenix being reborn, little by little. Not everything is perfect yet, but everything is done for your comfort. The house offers everything that makes a group stay a real pleasure: two stoves that provide conviviality and warmth, heat pumps in every room for the winter, a garden with a large barbecue, a campfire. And not to be forgotten: a baker across the street for croissants and baguette at breakfast. This old building, renovated with character, is laid out as follows: An entrance leading to 2 sections... Left-hand section, a large dining room that can seat around twenty people. A solid staircase will lead you to a small mezzanine lounge and to 2 bedrooms: one bedroom with a double bed, 2 single bunk beds, a trundle bed and a single bed (1 extra mattress available). A second bedroom with a double bed with a single bunk above and another single bed. The bathroom, fitted with a toilet and a bathtub, is right opposite the bedrooms. Right-hand section: bathroom (shower + bathtub + toilet), comfortable lounge, 2 sofa beds, fully equipped and newly refitted kitchen. You will find everything you need during your stay there, including raclette and fondue sets. You have access to a storeroom where you can store bikes / skis if needed. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with a double bed, 1 bedroom with a double bed and 1 bedroom with a double bed and a single bed. Behind the house a magnificent forest begins directly. In front of the house runs a road limited to 30 km/h. You can easily park 3 vehicles. Free parking is available across the street. A barbecue and its utensils are at your disposal (please bring charcoal). A stone's throw from the ski slopes in winter or mountain bike rides in summer, this house is ideal for groups or families. You will be welcomed by your host, who will explain how the house works. Your beds will be made and towels will be provided. Household waste sorting is practised.
